Rails to Trails

Rails to Trails provides an excellent opportunity for off-road riding at a casual pace.  Pennsylvaia is home to 183 Rails to Trails across the state.

Easy Pace Rails to Trails Rides

Thursdays – Easy pace rails to trails ride on the Ghost Town Trail or Great Allegheny Passage. Great for beginners or anyone who just wants an evening of casual riding. Departure times vary from 5:00-6:00 PM, May through August, weather permitting. Total distance 15-20 miles, pace determined by participants. After-ride stop at local eatery or pub, dependent on location/group interest.

Intermediate Rails to Trails Ride

Mondays – Intermediate rails to trails ride on the Ghost Town Trail or Great Allegheny Passage. ~20 miles at a 10-12 mph pace, weather permitting. 5:00 or 5:30 start – exact time and trailhead via LHORBA email. Food and beverages at a local restaurant/tavern after the ride.
