Rails to Trails

Rails to Trails provides an excellent opportunity for off-road riding at a casual pace.  Pennsylvaia is home to 183 Rails to Trails across the state.

Easy Pace Rails to Trails Ride

Mondays & Thursdays – easy pace rails to trails ride on the Ghost Town Trail or Great Allegheny Passage. Great for beginners or anyone who wants an evening of casual riding. Departure place & time announced by LHORBA email. Times vary from 4:30 to 6:00 PM, mid April through October, weather permitting. Total distance 12–20 miles, pace & distance determined by participants. After-ride stop at local eatery or pub, dependent on location/group interest.

Intermediate Rails to Trails Ride

Mondays – intermediate rails to trails ride on the Ghost Town Trail or Great Allegheny Passage. Departure place & time announced by LHORBA email. Times vary from 4:30 to 6:00 PM, mid April through October, weather permitting. ~20 miles at 10-12 mph pace. After-ride stop at local eatery or pub, dependent on location/group interest.
